Does the 2018 Kia Sportage have a turbo option?

2018 Kia Sportage efficiency and engine options When you’re looking to have fun with an SUV or crossover, few SUVs will feel as fun and sporty as the 2018 Kia Sportage. For all that, will it save you money at the pumps and does it have the power that you need? Yes, it will, and it does. We will prove it to you by going over the 2018 Kia Sportage efficiency and engine options. more What engines are available for the 2018 Kia Sportage? The Sportage has two great engine options available for 2018. The lineup starts off strong with a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine, which comes standard on the LX and EX trims. If you want a little more oomph, then you should opt for the turbo engine that comes standard in the aptly-named SX Turbo. It’s a 2.0-liter turbo 4-cylinder, with some impressive specs. When it comes to performance, we will get to that turbo powerplant in a minute, but first the 2.4-liter. The naturally aspirated 2.4-liter engine that comes standard on the LX and EX gives you 181 horsepower and an impressive 175 pound-feet of torque. The 2.0-liter turbo engine gives you even better performance with 240 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. Differences between Sportage, Sorento, and Sedona What Sportage trims have AWD available? The wonderful thing about the Sportage is that both engines can be equipped with AWD. All trims come with front-wheel drive standard, but all trims from the LX and the EX up to the SX Turbo, also have an all-wheel-drive option available without changing the engine. Read More: Cargo and seating capacity of the Sportage How efficient is the 2018 Sportage? Efficiency is important to most, especially when it comes to SUVs and crossovers. There are quite a few numbers to consider. The 2.4-liter LX and EX get different FWD efficiency numbers with 23-city mpg and 30-highway mpg for the former and 22-city mpg and 29-highway mpg for the latter. When equipped with an AWD configuration, they both get 21-city mpg and 25-highway mpg. The SX Turbo takes advantage of that powerful engine, but it also still manages to provide outstanding efficiency numbers with 21-mpg in the city and 26-mpg on the highway with the FWD configuration. If you upgrade to the AWD configuration, then you still get 20-city mpg and 23-highway mpg. How to prep your car before a road trip

What is the Difference Between the 2018 Kia Sedona Trim Levels?

2018 Kia Sedona Minivan Trim Levels Minivans are curious beasts. You'll notice that nearly every car brand usually only has 1 minivan model in their catalog. Kia's, for example, is the current 2018 Kia Sedona. In fact, some car brands don't make minivan models at all. This is because there's a very distinct and personal demographic for minivans. That is, essentially, families. more We know what you're thinking. If it's about space, why don't drivers just get an SUV instead? Well, for a few reasons. Firstly, many SUVs are built more compact. While much larger than sedans, they pale in comparison to the storage and seating space found in minivans. Additionally, those that do match the size and space of minivans can often be far more expensive due to their inclusion of off-road and engine performance features. Lastly, minivans are much more focused on comfort than SUVs. That means they're stocked with a lot more convenience, entertainment, and driver-assistance features. Therefore, let's see what features the 2018 Kia Sedona has across its 5 different trim levels! 2018 Kia Sedona Trim Level Pricing For the chart above, we chose not to include the specs of each 2018 Kia Sedona trim level. Why? Every 2018 Kia Sedona trim level has almost the exact same specs in terms of fuel economy, engine options, horsepower, drivetrain, and more. The big differences between the 2018 Kia Sedona trim level models are its additional features. 2018 Kia Sedona Trim Level Standard Features 2018 Kia Sedona L Remote Keyless Entry Heated Rear Glass Projector Beam Headlights Rear-Camera Display Active Eco System Brake Assist System (BAS) 2018 Kia Sedona LX All 2018 Kia Sedona L Features 8-Way Power-Adjustable Driver's Seat 8-Passenger Seating Fold-Down Center Console Dual Power Sliding Doors Privacy Glass 2018 Kia Sedona EX All 2018 Kia Sedona LX Features Leather Seat Trim Rapid-Charge USB Ports Smart Key with Push-Button Start Smart Power Liftgate Heated Outside Mirrors 2018 Kia Sedona SX All 2018 Kia Sedona EX Features Voice-Command Navigation Infinity® Surround Sound Ventilated Front Seats Vehicle Stability Management (VSM) 8-inch UVO Color Touchscreen 2018 Kia Sedona SX Limited All 2018 Kia Sedona SX Features Surround View Monitor (SVM) Smart Cruise Control (SCC) Autonomous Emergency Braking Chrome Exterior Door Handles High Beam Assist (HBA) 2018 Kia SUV and Minivan Comparisons For a complete list of features in every 2018 Kia Sedona trim level, please click here for the official information listing from Kia's website.
