The Kia K5 has replaced the 1.6-liter engine with a 2.5-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine, gaining 11 hp more for a total of 191 hp and 181 pound-feet of torque. While all the trims come standard with front-wheel drive and eight-speed automatic transmission, all-wheel drive is optional. The GT variant is equipped with a turbo 2.5-liter four, generating 290 horsepower and 311 lb-ft of torque.
