2019 Soul features and specs

In all, there are three trims for the 2019 Kia Soul. They have a bit of a strange naming scheme as the base trim is simply referred to as the Base, and above that, you have the + and the ! which are referred to hereafter as the Plus and the Exclaim respectively.
Though you may not be concerned about performance when buying a Soul, Kia is still looking out for you with three impressive engine options. On the Base trim, you get a 1.6-liter engine with up to 26-city mpg and 31-highway mpg and 130 horsepower. If you opt for the Plus trim, then you get a 2.0-liter engine with 25-city mpg and 30-highway mpg but with 161 horsepower. Otherwise, you can get the Exclaim trim with its 1.6-liter turbocharged engine and 201 horsepower. Surprisingly, this top engine still gives you 26-city mpg and 31-highway mpg which is the same as the Base trim’s engine. That’s what a turbocharger can get you.
You’ll have efficiency and you’ll have power regardless of trim level, but what about interior room? Every Soul can seat up to five people, and even with all those seats loaded, you still have room for 24.2 cubic-feet of cargo. If you fold those seats down, then you get a staggering 61.3 cubic-feet of cargo room.
