2019 Kia Optima features and options

The Kia Optima lineup is wonderful. From the outset, you have four trim levels to choose from starting with the LX and going up from there with the S, EX, and the top SX. The EX and SX trims even come with leather standard, and on the SX trim, you can opt for premium quilted Nappa leather. The SX also comes with a standard panoramic sunroof. This feature is an available option on all other trim levels.
On the inside, there are a lot of comforts and luxuries. All Optima models for 2019 come with a gorgeous 8-inch UVO infotainment screen that includes Android Auto and Apple CarPlay functionality. The S trim adds satellite radio to the UVO system standard, and the SX trim adds navigation. The SX also comes with a standard Harmon/Kardon premium sound system. Both the navigation and the premium sound system are available on the EX trim as well.
When it comes to engine options, you actually get to choose between three intriguing powerplants. The lineup starts with an impressive 185-horsepower engine that provides up to 25-city mpg and 35-highway mpg and comes standard on both the LX and the S. The EX gets a 1.6-liter turbo, and though it provides slightly less power with 178 horsepower it provides better fuel economy with 27-city mpg and 37-highway mpg. The top SX trim gets an even more powerful 2.0-liter turbo that’s good for 245 horsepower and can provide up to 21-city mpg and 30-highway mpg.
