The GT Line trim gets a lot of the looks and some of the features from the GT trim, but it keeps the same 147-horsepower 2.0-liter engine as the rest of the Forte lineup. Above the GT Line trim is where things get really interesting.

The GT trim of the Forte will get its own special engine for 2020. It’s a 1.6-liter turbocharged powerhouse that’s capable of delivering 201 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque. The Forte GT will be available with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission with paddle shifters. This drivetrain will also be paired with a fully independent front and rear suspension and larger sway bars. For more braking power, the Forte GT will also receive larger front disc brakes.
